I make this casserole almost every week, and I swear it never gets boring

Ingredients:

4 chicken breasts, butterflied

1.5 cups panko breadcrumbs

1 cup freshly grated Parmesan cheese

1 cup mozzarella cheese, shredded

3 tablespoons fresh parsley, finely chopped

1 teaspoon dried oregano

1/2 bunch fresh basil, roughly chopped

2.5 cups marinara sauce

1.5 teaspoons salt

Freshly ground pepper, to taste

Instructions:

Warm the oven to 375°F (190°C).

Evenly coat the base of an 8×8-inch baking dish with marinara sauce.

Season both sides of the chicken breasts with salt and freshly ground pepper. Nestle the seasoned chicken breasts into the sauce in the dish.

In a mixing bowl, blend the panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan cheese, parsley, and dried oregano.

Evenly distribute the breadcrumb blend over the chicken breasts.

Adorn with a generous layer of mozzarella cheese and sprinkle the chopped basil.

Pop the dish into the oven and bake for around 1 hour. The chicken should be thoroughly cooked, and the topping should have a golden-brown hue.

Once done, take it out of the oven, let it sit for a few minutes, then serve.

Relish the harmony of flavors and the warmth of a meal made with love!
