Method:

Cook whole chicken in the oven until nearly cooked. shred chicken,
cut carrots, potatoes, swede, parsnip and celery up into small chunks, and place in the slow cooker with the nearly cooked shredded chicken.

add both tins of vegetable soups and sprinkle both oxo cubes in as well.
then add water until all ingredients are just covered.
place slow cooker on low for about 6 hours after 6 hours thicken with gravy granules.
make your dumplings after the 6 hours and then place in slow cooker put lid on and turn slow cooker on high leave for half an hour after half an hour turn your dumpling and then replace the lid and leave for a further half an hour once that’s done. all there is left is to
